IRON MAIDEN: New Collectible Merchandising Items Due In The Fall

A new IRON MAIDEN lunchbox is scheduled for October, featuring the 1983 "Piece Of Mind" artwork. AtomicBooks.com describes it as "This colorful full-size tin lunchbox includes a thermal drink container, and features famous IRON MAIDEN artwork from Derek Riggs. One side of the lunchbox offers the album cover artwork from 'Piece of Mind'. The flipside shows art that was used to promote the hit song from 'Piece of Mind', 'The Trooper'."
A new "Eddie 18-inch action figure and room alarm", using its 1986 "Somewhere In Time" stance, will arrive in December. According to WestfieldComics.com, the action figure features "Eddie the Beast dressed up in his futuristic cyborg outfit 18" tall and comes with motion-activated lights and movement. His robot eye glows red, and he raises his gun in his right hand whenever you get too close."
Also scheduled for release is the official 2005 Iron Maiden Calendar, which is expected to arrive October 3, according to Sanity.com.au, an Australian web site which offers free shipping to fans Down Under if they pre-order it.
